Bashir's Taverna - Comment

We had our large (65 people) rehearsal dinner at Bashir\'s and it went perfectly. The staff were courteous and helpful, and Bashir was there to ensure that the evening went smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing--my mother, who never eats ham, ate a second helping of Bashir\'s apricot glazed ham. The ambiance was great, Bashir was gregarious and helpful and kind, and the food was truly spectacular.

Nicolas' Veggies - Comment

Nicolas offers a focused menu with some delicious and healthy items. I stumbled upon the small shop after a recommendation from a vegan friend. The Quinoa salad is absolutely delicious, full of unusual and tasty ingredients.

The prices are higher than you might expect ($7.75 for the salad) but the quality of ingredients justify it. There\'s only take-out but it\'s a great option on the downtown mall.

Cazon Tropical - Comment

we are Asian, have tried a couple mexican restaurants here in C\'ville. They gave us the impression that Mexican food is massy and not tasty. Now that I know is simply because I was not going to the right restaurant

I am really glad that after reading all the comments here, I decided to go there with my husband and try Mexican food one more time.

We do like this little clean neat one. It has some family atmosphere with the mexican music going on. Waitress is very nice and friendly, gave us good recommendations. The steak is fabulous(a little overcooked though, we asked for medium but it\'s more like a medium well. It\'s understandable because it was really thin, must be too difficult to control). Chicken wings are by far the best and the most special in town. The dessert we ordered is very impressive. I couldn\'t remember its name though, its like some milk pudding with a crisp thin shell. The price is reasonable. And it\'s not far alway from grounds.

we\'ll definitely go there again sometime soon.

It\'s 2008; who doesn\'t have free refills? The teeny-boppers behind the counter looked at me as if I was an idiot when I asked about their menu. Food was good, but service is lacking.
